A Traditional Bwiti Missoko Retreat

Our retreat is designed for those who are ready to do the work. Unlike other centers that may focus on "vacationing" with plant medicine, we focus on deep, surgical healing. We provide a distraction-free container where you can disconnect from the noise of the world and reconnect with the voice of your soul.
We limit our groups to a maximum of 4 to 8 guests. This ensures that every participant receives the full attention of the Nganga (Spiritual Guide) and the support team.

Day 1: Arrival & The First Descent

  • The Arrival: You arrive at our center, settle into your accommodation, and complete a final health check. The atmosphere is quiet and focused.
  • Ceremony 1 (Psychospiritual): As night falls, we enter the Ceremony Space. This first ceremony is often a physical and mental “reset.” The medicine works to detoxify the body and clear the static from the mind, preparing the canvas for the deeper work to come.

Day 2: Processing Day

  • The Stillness: The day after a Bwiti ceremony is known as a “Processing Day.” This is often the most important part of the retreat.
  • The Experience: You will spend the day in rest and introspection. The medicine is still active within you—not in a hallucinogenic way, but in a deep, cognitive way. You may feel heavy as your body releases stored trauma. We provide healthy, nourishing meals and a quiet environment for you to simply be.

Day 3: Integration & The Wisdom of the Fire

  • Connecting the Dots: As your energy returns, clarity follows. You will have a private counseling session with the Nganga to interpret the messages from your first night.
  • Fireside Talks: In the evening, we gather for the Traditional Fireside Talks. In the Bwiti tradition, wisdom is not written; it is spoken. Around the sacred fire, the Nganga/Iboga Provider shares ancient Bwiti teachings (Mbwumba) about life, the nature of the mind, and the laws of the universe. This is where you learn how to apply the medicine’s truth to your actual life.

Day 4: The Deep Dive

  • Preparation: The morning is spent in quiet preparation.
  • The Spiritual Shower: You will receive a ritual cleansing. This is a powerful Bwiti ritual using specific jungle herbs and water to wash away the “dust” of the modern world and the heavy energy of your travels. It prepares your physical and energetic body to receive the medicine. This shower is focused on “opening the senses” for the spiritual work ahead.
  • Ceremony 2 (Psychospiritual): Having cleared the physical and mental blockages in the first ceremony, you are now ready to go deeper. This second night is where the profound spiritual work happens—connecting with your soul, confronting the root of your trauma, and finding the answers to your life’s biggest questions.

Day 5: Processing Day

  • The Recovery: Similar to Day 2, this is a day of rest, recovery, and deep listening. You have traveled far internally; now you must allow your body and mind to catch up.
  • Nourishment: Our team ensures you are fed, hydrated, and comfortable as you navigate the insights that are landing.

Day 6: Integration & Departure

  • The Return: We close the container with a final Integration Circle. We do not just say goodbye; we give you the tools to take this healing home.
  • The Plan: You will leave with a clear plan on how to navigate your “old life” with your “new eyes.”

Beyond The Retreat: The Aftercare

The real ceremony begins when you go home. We are one of the few centers that offers a robust aftercare program included in your tuition.

3 Post-Retreat Integration Calls: We schedule three follow-up calls with you to ensure you are landing softly. We help you navigate triggers, family dynamics, and the integration of your new self into your daily reality.

Accommodation & Food

The Sanctuary: Our rooms are clean, comfortable, and designed for rest. Whether you choose a private or shared room, you will have a safe, quiet space to process your journey.

The Nourishment: We serve healthy, whole food meals designed to support the liver and the body during this deep detox process. Note: We will guide you through the necessary fasting protocols on ceremony days.
