Traditional Iboga Retreat Process

Day 1

Ceremony 1

As night falls, we enter the Ceremony Space. This first ceremony is often a physical and mental “reset.” The medicine works to detoxify the body and clear the static from the mind, preparing the canvas for the deeper work to come.

Day 2

Processing Day

The day after a Bwiti ceremony is known as a “Processing Day.” This is often the most important part of the retreat.
You will spend the day in rest and introspection. The medicine is still active within you—not in a hallucinogenic way, but in a deep, cognitive way.

Day 3

Integration Day

As your energy returns, clarity follows. You will have a private counseling session with the Nganga to interpret the messages from your first night.

Day 4

Ceremony 2

The morning is spent in quiet preparation.
You will receive a ritual cleansing.
This shower is focused on “opening the senses” for the spiritual work ahead.

Day 5

Processing Day

Similar to Day 2, this is a day of rest, recovery, and deep listening. You have traveled far internally; now you must allow your body and mind to catch up.
Our team ensures you are fed, hydrated, and comfortable as you navigate the insights that are landing.

Day 6

Recovery & Departure

We close the container with a final Integration Circle. We do not just say goodbye; we give you the tools to take this healing home.

My deepest and sincere gratitude to Sande for making me feel safe, caring about my well being and being present always. I was called by Iboga and I am glad a chose to work with the Bwiti' tradition. I was dealing with decades of depression, anxiety, self doubt and suffering. Iboga truly showed me how to heal myself. If you are nervous & debating, just go - you'll be in the Best possible hands.

I was facing challenges with alcohol for years. I am proud to say I have been more than 100 days sober. Sande I have no words to describe how much you mean to me. I hope you know I will always love you dearly and keep you close to my heart. The medicine is what people come to the Retreat for but the tradition and the people, the Iboga provider, the Care and unconditional love is what I will remember most fondly. Those truly was a Blessing 🙏

I want to sincerely convey my thanks to Iboga, the Bwiti' culture and Sande for saving my life and giving me my Life back. I was dealing with addiction coupled with trauma and self sabotaging behaviors. The incredible professionalism from everyone on the staff and the treatment protocol was top shelf all the way. Sande lots of Love to you brother. I admire you and your smile adds light to this world.
